An attitude of gratitude- simple isn't it. Be thankful, change your dispostion.
My daughter and I have been watching and listening to Mary Poppins- the original, of course. She runs around singing, a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down... I giggle and think how adorable my "little" is. And then it occurs to me how profound these small litlte words can be.
With any task you undertake, it then becomes a piece of cake... okay Mary... I hear you. But how true it is. Your attitude about any thing you are approaching or looking to accomplish is only as cheery as you make it.
In FITNESS, the game is the reps, or the race, or the score... the more love you feed these, the greater your success. In HEALTH, chosing better foods, drinking water and focusing time to mindfulness, create and manifest a well body. While avoiding these, or procrastinating on any of them only leaves us further from your goal, whatever it is.
For some, just getting dressed to go workout is the JOB, so we must determine to JUST DO IT, if it helps to get some cute workout clothes, new shoes, or a fancy tracking device to motivate you, well there you go... if a specific water bottle gets you to drink more water, or fnding a nice farmers market makes the adventure of buying healthier whole and natural foods fun and tolerable, well then I suggest do so. Send the energy of love and fun to the task to help ensure that you are on your way to success. Before you know it, "Snap, the jobs a game!"
But wait a minute... you mean its that easy. Well of course not. There are hard days, where the medicine is just medicine, and the job feels like a job. But If you take some time to bring the mindfullness to the front of the task you can create a new paradigm around the task, job, or event at hand. The energy will shift, eventually... but you must remain steadfast to the idea that you can create the power you want around anything.
In days and times of challenge and difficulty, allow your self some grace. Be Kind to yourself and be reminded that we all fail, it is how we recover from the failure that is the tell.
Remember, you are in control of how you see things... after all, "Snap... the jobs a game!"
