Sometimes you just have to start... Part 1

This post doesnt have an outline, or a supposed structure. It is born of the desire to START.
I am sure that many, if not all of you are familiar with "analysis paralysis". The ever plaguing block that prevents us from beginning a specific task due to the over processing of what it must be, should look like, or we are afraid it won't measure up to.
For many years, I have lagged on my website. In the beginning, I was so busy I didn't have time to sit in front of the computer and 'type words', I was busy! Busy training someone, training myself, or trying to figure out who to train. Well guess what? Today, I am not any less busy. The busy has just morphed into an HR career, a toddling 2 year old and making strides at ensuring my passion for health, fitnes and wellness doesnt get lost in the shuffle.
We are not any different, you and I. We make choices as to what will be prioritized. As a mother, sometimes it might feel like no choices you make are your own. As a professional, your choices may come on the directive of your boss. And for your self, well if you are like me, often times those are the very last of consideration. You know it well, "self care is the best care". What else do they say, "if you cant take care of your self, you cant take care of anyone else". I am not entirely sure that is correct. I am pretty good at ensuring that everyone else gets what they need, far before myself. It doenst make it best, good or right.
So, today, after working from home, with a toddler that started off vomiting, I hit the Publish button on my site. It needs work, but it is a start. Just like this post. But if it reaches only one person, then I feel I am confidently going in the direction of my dreams and goals.
I am excited to share, grow and learn with all of you, remembering that it is never too late to START!

This is a great start. Keep writing!
